Betty Fournier Goodbye Party

On Thursday, November 29th, we said goodbye to Betty Fournier, our parish secretary for the past 23 years. She is starting her retirement with her husband Art and everyone came to say thank you and best wishes!

Quality Street Fair

Saturday, November 17, 2007 was the annual Quality Street Fair. We raised over $4,400 for the Canton Food Bank and for Project New Orleans

Blessing of the Animals

On October 7th, in the afternoon, Bishop Jim Curry blessed the animals of the parish.

Bishop's Visit

On October 7th, Bishop Jim Curry came to Trinity for a day's visit. He officiated at both morning services and then attended a reception in the parish hall.

New Suffragan Bishop Consecrated

On June 30, 2007 the Diocese of Connecticut consecrated and ordained our new Suffragan Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Laura Ahrens. Caitlin McAdoo and her friend Rachel carried the new Trinity banner (graciously made by Ann McAdoo and Laurie Barnhart) in the procession at Woolsey Hall.

Heads Up! Hartford!

The last week in June was time for our youth to join with others from the greater Hartford area for "Heads Up! Hartford!"

Parish Picnic

Sunday, June 10, 2007 was the annual Parish Picnic. With overcast skies and the grass soaked by heavy rains earlier, we brought the festivities indoors with just the grill crew outside. A good time was had by all and we welcomed our Bishop Suffragan-Elect Laura Ahrens as well.

50th Wedding Anniversaries Celebrated

On May 20th, three of Trinity's familys celebrated their 50th wedding anniversaries and the Diocese recognized them with a ceremony at the Cathedral with the Bishop.

Mitzvah Day

May 12, 2007 was the parish's Mitzvah Day. Several were hard at work inside and outside the Church. Others did their good deeds out of the eye of the camera.

Potluck Dinner & Comedian

April 29th was also our Parish Potluck Dinner to honor our 10 new confirmands. Entertainment featured Episcopal comedian Mark MacGougan.

Justin McIntosh's Last Day at Trinity

April 29th was Justin Mcintosh's last day as Trinity's intern. Everyone said goodbye and we had a nice reception.

Confirmation Reception

On April 21st Trinity hosted a three-church Confirmation/Reception with Bishop Smith presiiding

Easter Flowers

This year's Easter floral decorations were especially beautiful!

Rite-13 Pancake Breakfast

On February 18th, J2A and Rite-13 kids sponsored a pancake breakfast after both services to help raise funds for this year's missionary trip - Heads Up! Hartford!

Rite-13 & J2A Lock-In

On January 26th and 27th, J2A and Rite-13 kids had a lock-in event at the church.

Quality Street Proceeds Given To Focus on Canton

On January 11th the Rev. Linda Spiers hands check for $2,160 to Focus on Canton Board of Directors. The funds are half of the total proceeds from the 2006 Quality Street Fair.
