As with any community, many hands are needed to keep things humming along. We are deeply grateful to everyone who offers their time and skill to beautify the Sanctuary, to lead the faithful in prayer at a weekly service, or to help out at a Church event. We all have something to share with our church community. If you are interested in helping Trinity Collinsville, please email the parish office. We will answer questions to help you find a way to lend some of your time and talent in service to God and His beloved community.

The Altar Guild cares for and sets up the altar and the worship space, the physical elements that make our worship of God beautiful, reverent and inspiring. This includes the fabrics that drape the altar and other areas, sacred vessels used for Communion; and candles and flowers that add light and color to our worship.
Worship services offer many simple yet vital ways to serve the Lord and the church. Lectors assist in the liturgy by reading the lessons and leading the Prayers of the People. Ushers and greeters arrive before services to direct and greet people as they arrive, allowing us to show all who come through our doors the hospitality that exists here at Trinity. Counters ensure that contributions are accurately recorded and deposited, serving as faithful stewards for the precious gifts we have been given.
Teams of volunteers occasionally pitch in to care for the beautiful space that Trinity Collinsville offers for gathering and worship. This essential support helps to defray costs and enhances the work of the church's paid landscaping maintenance services. Periodic clean-up days provide a chance for all members of our community -- young and old, experienced gardeners and novices -- to serve together in the beauty of creation.
